Destiny Ann Montoya (b. 1999) is a collage artist based in Phoenix, Arizona from Durango, Colorado. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Museum Studies from Arizona State University (2024) and hopes to apply her interests toward a curatorial career in contemporary art.
As an aspiring curator/producer of knowledge and learner she is interested in the discourse surrounding contemporary issues within curatorial practice and advocates for an accessible-rhizomatic-feminist and queer approach to art curation.
As an artist, her work explores themes of woman-hood, sex, relationships, and identity through visual environments with an emphasis on symbolism using found and personal images that are then printed, arranged, and glued together with love.
As a writer, she is interested in an experimental stream of consciousness that promotes fluidity in articulating the ephemeral.
